Ferguson March at UB!

As many of you may know, last night a Grand Jury decided NOT to indict officer Darren Wilson, the police officer who killed Mike Brown in Ferguson, MO. in August. Understandably, the decision has caused widespread outrage and protests.

Today at 2 pm in front of UB’s Student Union, there will be a peaceful march held to show support of the people peacefully protesting in Ferguson and across the country. If you are still at UB, or are a Buffalo native, it would be a great idea to go out and support.

Unfortunately, I already left UB for break, but I will definitely be there in spirit!

Everyone please remember to be safe and to be respectful to UB and its staff and faculty.


Bill Maher and Ben Affleck enter heated debate over Islamic Extremism

On Friday night’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Maher along with Sam Harris, author of the book Waking Up, got into a rather headed argument with actor Ben Affleck over the seemingly bigoted view that an overwhelming majority of Muslims hold extremists views and principles.
